主讲人：卡洛斯·格德斯·苏亚雷斯(Carlos Guedes Soares)，中国工程院外籍院士、葡萄牙工程院院士、欧洲科学院院士，葡萄牙里斯本大学高等技术学院杰出教授。
报告摘要：
CENTEC, a top marine engineering research center under the Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, focuses on naval architecture and ocean engineering as its core discipline integrated with interdisciplinary fields including mechanics, energy and maritime transport. Its main research areas cover marine hydrodynamics, offshore wind power, marine structures, port and shipping, marine environmental protection and digital simulation. Relying on the complete undergraduate, master’s and doctoral training system of the university, the center cultivates professionals and continuously recruits postgraduate students and visiting scholars worldwide through a practice-oriented training model driven by research projects. Meanwhile, it deeply participates in various EU transnational research programs, maintains long-term partnerships with numerous universities and marine enterprises across the globe, and regularly hosts government-sponsored visiting scholars from all countries to carry out joint research, scholar exchanges and academic communications.
主讲人简介：Carlos Guedes Soares（卡洛斯·格德斯·苏亚雷斯），现为中国工程院外籍院士、葡萄牙工程院院士、欧洲科学院院士，葡萄牙里斯本大学高等技术学院杰出教授、海洋技术与海洋工程中心（CENTEC）首席科学家，大连海事大学特聘教授，国际船舶与海洋工程师（SNAME）协会会士，美国机械工程师协会（ASME）会士，美国土木工程师学会（ASCE）会士，英国皇家造船工程师学会（RINA）会士，国际轮机工程及海事科技学会（IMarEST）会士，中国国际科学技术合作奖、中国政府友谊奖、欧洲海洋技术协会（CEMT）杰出贡献奖、美国机械工程师学会（ASME）终身成就奖获得者。
Carlos Guedes Soares院士是海事科技和船海领域国际知名专家、安全与可靠性研究领域国际著名学者，2019至2025年连续入选斯坦福大学全球前2%高被引科学家，土木工程领域全球6.2万名作者中排名第1-4位。他曾担任船舶与海洋工程国际领域最高学术组织船舶与海洋工程结构协会（ISSC）主席，是欧洲安全与可靠性协会（ESRA）五位创始成员之一，并长期担任该协会秘书长、副主席、主席及通讯编辑；现任欧洲海洋技术大学协会主席（WEGEMT）。
