材料科学与工程专业本科培养计划

Undergraduate Program for Materials Science and Engineering Major

一、专业简介

IProgram Profile

本专业的主要学科方向包括金属材料及强化、材料表面改性技术、材料可焊性、焊接工艺及设备、材料腐蚀与防护、船舶涂料与涂装技术、无机非金属材料等。主要学习材料科学基础理论,掌握材料的成分、组织结构、生产工艺、环境与性能之间关系的基本规律,研究掌握金属材料、功能材料、无机非金属材料及其它有关材料科学与工程方面的基本规律。

Subject directions of the specialty involve metal materials & their strengthening, surface modification technology of materials, weldability of materials, welding technology and equipment, material corrosion and protection, ship coating system and application technology, inorganic non-metallic materials and etc. Undergraduates study basic theory of materials science, grasp the fundamental rules and relationship among material composition, microstructure, produce technology, environment and properties, investigate and master the basic law on metal materials, functional materials, inorganic non-metallic materials, and other aspects related to materials science and engineering.  

二、培养目标

IIProgram Objectives

       本专业培养德、智、体、美全面发展、具备良好科学素质、系统地掌握材料科学与工程学科基本原理、工艺、技术和管理方面的基础知识,能够在企业、教育、科研、行政单位等部门从事本领域的科学研究、教学、科技开发及经营管理工作的高级专业人才。

The specialty is aimed at cultivating all-round talented graduates who are well developed morally, intellectually and physically. They enjoy the excellent accomplishment in their major and have a quite good command of basic knowledge, technology and of skills materials science and engineering. Our graduates are suited to work in various organizations such as large-scaled corporations, education and research organization or government institutions.

三、培养要求

IIIProgram Requirements

       1、热爱社会主义祖国,拥护中国共产党领导,掌握马列主义、毛泽东思想和邓小平理论的基本原理;愿为社会主义现代化服务,为人民服务,为国家富强、民族昌盛而奋斗的志向和责任感;具备敬业爱岗、艰苦奋斗、热爱劳动、遵纪守法、团结合作的品质;具有良好的思想品德、社会公德和职业道德。

2、具有独立获取知识、提出问题、分析问题和解决问题的基本能力及开拓创新精神,具备一定的从事本专业业务工作能力和适应相邻专业业务工作的基本能力与素质。

3、具有一定的体育和军事基本知识,掌握科学锻炼身体的基本技能,养成良好的体育锻炼和卫生习惯,受到必要的军事训练,达到国家规定的大学生体育和军事训练合格标准,具备健全的心理和健康的体魄,能够履行建设祖国和保卫祖国的神圣义务。

The students are supposed to

Ø         Worship our socialist motherland and support the leadership of Chinese Communist Party. Master the basic principles of Marxism, Mao Zedong thoughts and Deng Xiaoping theory. Have the ambition and sense of responsibility to serve socialist modernization and the people, to strive for the blossom of the country and the prosperity of the nation. Have the characters of devoting to work, living plainly and struggling hard, being diligent, obeying laws, being united and cooperative. Have an advanced ideological morality, social consciousness and professional ethics.

Ø         Be able to independently acquire, raise, analyze and solve problems with pioneering and innovating spirit. Possess certain ability to undertake operational work in the specialty of his (her) own and basic ability and quality to undertake those work in adjacent fields.

Ø         Possess certain knowledge on physical and military culture. Have basic skills of exercising scientifically. Have the good habit of exercise and sanitation and undertake required military training to be qualified for college student physical and military training standard of the country. Be psychologically and physically healthy. Be able to fulfill the sacred obligation of constructing and safeguarding the nation.
